Dont Judge A Book By Its Cover

Is the first impression always the right impressionNever. In today’s society we ALL make snap judgments of someone who is different from the people who weassociate with everyday. In modern day community when meeting someone new in a matter of seconds we categorize him or her, label him or her, and judge him or her without even getting to know the real them.

Scientist states that it is simply human nature to judge other persons without getting to know them. Humans are accustomed to put labels on things including our own kind. And the bad part about it is that it is extremely hard for us to change our minds about our first impression.

As a society, we too often judge persons on their physical exterior. If a man has a mass amount of tattoos we quickly jump to the impression that they’re uneducated, rough, menace to society, and a fool. But ifyou look at a man for instance who drives lavish cars, drinks luxurious champagne and owns a mansion we label him from our first impression as rich, conceited, cocky, selfish and the list goes on and on.

So, what is the best way to approach new people? Don’t make snap judgments before you get to know them. Enter into new relationships with an open mind, and open eyes.

How Is Global Warming Effecting Your Pet?

I handpicked this emotional ad called "Explicit Global Warming Commercial" because of the horrific tragedy about various animals giving up on life, because of extreme heat caused by global warming. The ad tried to persuade humans to cut down on C02 gas emissions in the air because it is killing the animals. This ad shows emotions such as guilt, passion, fear and sadness.

The ad had the emotion of guilt, because they were trying to blame the deaths of the animals on you. While, making you guilty, the ad also shows why you should feel bad for the world and the animals. In the ad it had the quote "If you give up, they give up" which means that if you do not contribute to preventing global warming, then the animals will kill themselves.
Because of the solemn music being played in the background, and the slow camera angles that intentionally zoomed into the animals face that brought out sadness. Because now I understand how much I don't do to make their lives better.
The ad also stirs the emotion of passion. Because after watching hopeless animals commit suicide and leaving it to blame on you, you find passion somewhere inside of you. The passion motivates you and drives you to make a change. Along with guilt and passion, the emotion "fear" is also effective in this ad. Because of fear of countless animals dying, you are afraid that your very own pet can die just because of global warming.

Last, but not least this commercial ad expressed the emotion of utter sadness. Because of the sound effects and the monotone background voice, and the tears on the animated animals you get sad because of the bad things that global warming does to them. It also persuades people, because now they can be more empathetic by "putting themselves in the animals shoes".

The Love For Starbursts

Starbursts are blatantly the best candy in the world because of a few reasons. There are more flavours, is is surprising because it is wrapped so you don't know what flavours you are going to get, and because it costs less.

Starbursts are much cheaper than M&M's. Because of the low-cost, but high quality it intrigues more lower classed persons to purchases them. If you are throwing a party, you can buy starbursts in a bundle without blowing all of your money. Another advantage of the low-cost is because you can buy much more starbursts for a cheaper price than M&M's.

Starbursts are packaged unlike M&M's, that is an advantage because if you drop the candy on the ground you can still eat it. If you drop a bag of M&M's on the floor you cannot eat any of those. Another reason why packaging is an advantage is because you get a surprise. You never know what color you are going to get, which makes it more entertaining.

There are more flavours in Starburst candy. Instead of having the same old chocolate in M&M's, Starburst has about 5-10 different flavours which gives it more of a variety.

People suggest that M&M's are the best candy in the world because it relieves stress and depression. That is complete garbage because when I eat chocolate I gained more stress because i realized that wasted money buying M&M's because of the terrible taste.
